How to Manage Stress with the Right Herbs

Stress can take a toll on our lives in the form of various diseases.


Fortunately, you can keep stress in normal limits if: eat healthy, do regular exercise and use tea / herbal tinctures.

Studies show that the most effective herbs, anti stress are: valerian, lavender, rosemary, chamomile and linden.


Valerian
Valerian root has been used medicinally since ancient history. This was used as a sleeping pill for over 1,000 years and has undergone many scientific researches in the modern era. Several studies show that valerian, when taken before bedtime helps you sleep more soundly and thus feel more rested and relaxed. A study of Humbolt University of Berlin in 2000 found that people who suffer from insomnia can benefit from superior quality sleep if I take 600 milligrams of valerian extract for 14 days. Another way to get rid of white nights is to take a teaspoon of tincture daily for more than 6 weeks. As the tea is recommended to drink three to five cups of tea per day of valerian. Last cup of tea should be drunk in about 30 minutes before going to bed. Though not a toxic plant, it is better to take small doses. Contraindications and side effects

Rosemary

Mediterranean herb, rosemary means "dew of the sea". Used since antiquity in both culinary arts and in medicine and rituals, rosemary has the ability to stimulate and unlock various body systems.

Pregnant women and nursing mothers are advised not to consume rosemary in large quantities because excessive doses can affect the fetus or even lead to miscarriage. Consumption of rosemary is contraindicated for people with high blood pressure or epilepsy. Plant leaves can cause serious side effects, such as spasms, coma inducing vomiting and pulmonary edema (fluid accumulation in the lungs), if consumed in large quantities.


Chamomile

Chamomile has been used thousands of years ago in ancient Egypt, where he was honored for its excellent curative. It was first used in Europe in 1600, to treat various ailments such as insomnia, back pain, rheumatism, neuralgia and nervousness.

Years ago, in Europe and the United States, chamomile tea was a cure for the disease called "vapor." This disease was characterized by anxiety, fainting and swooning.

These flowers were used as a tea to relieve anxiety associated with indigestion, irregular heartbeat and vomiting.

Anxiety

The states of fear without any real reason may be driven using lime tea.
